Role Description

The Assistant Stylist will support the Styling Team at the Distribution Centre (DC, in Montague Gardens) by creating compelling fashion imagery for Superbalist. The role includes preparing products for photoshoots, assisting in styling garments and accessories, maintaining a well‑organised studio, coordinating with photographers, models and other team members, and monitoring quality standards to ensure products are presented in alignment with the brand's aesthetic.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with product preparation for photoshoots (steaming, tagging, organising fashion and homeware products).
• Assembling and building homeware products for shoots.
• Ensuring studio setup is clean, organised and ready for daily shoots.
• Removing all tags and retagging correctly when done – MUST accompany the correct clothing item and hanger.
• Daily repacking of all stills items into correct packaging once shot and ensuring nothing is damaged.
• Adhering meticulously to studio workflow and stock management processes regarding communication between Studio & Production.

Minimum Requirements and Experience

• Diploma or certificate in Fashion‑styling, fashion design, or related fields is a plus.
• 1+ years experience working in a fashion or photographic studio.
• Must be able to work over‑time if and when required.
• Understanding of fashion styling, trends, and garment preparation.
• Organisational skills for managing photoshoot logistics and studio coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality standards.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills for working in a creative team environment.
• Proficiency in problem‑solving and adaptability in fast‑paced, high‑energy settings.
• Passion for fashion and knowledge of the retail industry is advantageous.

• Ability to deliver in a fast‑paced environment, remain proactive and professional, adapt to rapid change.
• Able to work well individually and motivate as part of a team within deadlines.
• Excellent organisational, administrative, time management and communication skills.
