A leading agricultural firm in Clocolan is seeking an Assistant Silo Manager to support the Silo Manager in efficient silo operations and financial performance. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of grain or silo experience and relevant training. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. This role offers a competitive salary of R40,000 per month.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a grain or silo environment.
  • Completed Fumigation Course.
  • Completed Grain Grading Courses.
  • Proven experience in staff supervision or management.
  • Experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all silo operations to achieve budget and performance targets.
  • Support the Silo Manager with personnel management and staff development.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to sound financial controls and cost management practices.
  • Oversee administrative functions related to silo operations and reporting.
