A luxury hotel in Umhlanga Rocks seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to supervise food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a high-end environment, proficient in Micros and Microsoft Office, with strong leadership skills. To supervise and coordinate the operations of allocated Food and Beverage areas within Ocean Terrace, ensuring that all team members perform their duties accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with The Oyster Box’s established standards. The role is focused on maintaining the highest levels of service excellence and operational performance, while upholding the policies and procedures outlined in the operating manual. The Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a key role in supporting staff development, guest satisfaction, and the seamless execution of daily service.
Minimum 2-3 years
experience in a supervisory or Assistant Restaurant Manager role within a 5-star environment
Knowledgeable on Micros point of sale system and Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations
A hospitality related qualification will be advantageous
