Job summary

A reputable engineering organization is looking for an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer / Assistant Construction Manager to join their team in Reitz, Free State. Applicants should have a minimum of 8 years of experience, ideally in Water & Sanitation structures, and possess a National Diploma in engineering. This is a contract role offering a salary ranging from R50,000 to R80,000 per month depending on qualifications. The initial contract is for 12 months with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the field.
• Experience in Water & Sanitation Reservoir or water retaining structures is advantageous.
• Registration with ECSA or SACPCMP.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising construction projects.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for project execution.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance.
