Job description

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the delivery and management of digital experience design and implementation services solutions for our clients by participating in the visioning and planning process and leading execution around digital experience initiatives of our clients.

This would involve collaboration with internal cross functional teams (marketing, technology, design) account managers, vendor partners and client stakeholders.

The projects typically involve marketing strategy development, software development (web and mobile applications) and marketing operations (SEO, Content Creation, Social Media Marketing).

The role requires careful management of the collaboration to ensure the timely, high-quality implementations of digital platforms and their operations.

You will work from our Technopark, Trivandrum office and will play a key role in project management, ensuring scalability and adaptability of the digital platforms under your charge, and ensuring smooth execution of our client's digital experience platform-related initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers or Engagement Managers to efficiently manage the end to end process of digital experience design and implementation initiatives for our clients.
  • Review digital experience platform performance periodically in light of the vision and goals of the client and communicate to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate development of meaningful digital experience initiatives through desk research, elicitation and co-creation process with appropriate stakeholders and contributors.
  • Develop project budgets and plans using Gantt Charts and other suitable tools for the various initiatives, prepare resourcing plans, onboarding resources effectively and managing the team.
  • Maintain visibility over project execution and assist the Project Manager and Engagement Manager in remaining in control of the execution through regular tracking of progress in line with the client's vision and goals, strategic alignment and project plan avoiding cost overrun and schedule overrun.
  • Actively mitigate project risks through effective interventions in RAID management with the entire ecosystem and elevate issues appropriately to Project Manager or Engagement Manager.
  • Ensure process compliance with the assistance of QA team and enable achievement of applicable quality standards.
  • Act as a coordination point between clients and internal teams to manage the day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing digital experience initiatives.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, status reports, meeting notes, and trackers.

  • 2‑4 years of relevant experience in software development projects either as a developer or a tester or a project coordinator.
  • Experience in marketing activity post MBA in Marketing.
  • Good understanding of project lifecycle and basic principles of project management methodologies relevant for software development (Agile / Waterfall).
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like JIRA, Trello, Redmine, MS Excel, and Google Workspace.
  • Analytical abilities to manage reasonably complex inter-disciplinary environments and conflict resolution.
  • Proactive, self‑driven, and keen on learning and growing in a project delivery environment.
  • Prior experience working in the Retail, Ecommerce, Media, Government, Non‑Profit, Healthcare, or Education domains will be an added advantage.
  • Exposure to Free and Open Source Software stack and FOSS communities will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualifications
  • MBA / PGDM in Marketing / Systems / Finance.
  • Academic performance is an important criteria for selection into the role.
  • Bachelor's degree to be in B.Tech / B.E in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
