Responsibilities

• Assist with the emulsifier and raw material batch preparation.
• Fulfil stand-in duty for the process controller.
• Control the emulsifier making and batch preparation process via PLC/HMI.
• Perform quality control testing of raw materials and products.

Overview

The position is based at the Emulsifier plant in Losberg.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Forklift license
• 2 years demonstrated hands‑on experience in a production environment
• 1 year demonstrated experience in a production plant
• 1 year demonstrated experience in explosives production

Duties

• Assist with the emulsifier and raw material batch preparation
• Fulfil stand‑in duty for the process controller during meal breaks and while on leave
• Be competent in monitoring and shutting down the system during upset conditions
• Be competent in controlling the emulsifier making and batch preparation process via the PLC / HMI
• Stand‑in as leave cover
• Fulfil the duties of the emulsifier / ISA Loading and general housekeeping
• Perform quality control testing of raw materials and products
• Continue to perform duties of a forklift driver
• May assist with product loading at INNOVEX plant
