Job description

- Assist the Photo Manager in managing the daily operations of the onboard photography department

- Coordinate with the ships management team to ensure smooth operation and compliance with company policies and procedures onboard a cruise ship

- Train and supervise a team of photographers and photo sales associates

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of photo products and supplies

- Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of photo products to passengers

- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner

- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote photo products and services to passengers

- Conduct performance evaluations for staff members and provide feedback for improvement

- Assist in creating and implementing new strategies to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment for staff and passengers

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in photography, business, or a related field preferred

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the photography or hospitality industry

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and photo editing software

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
