The Assistant Manager's key responsibilities are to manage the Sales Floor.

He/She is primarily responsible for store and merchandising standards (including the back-up areas).

He/She is also responsible for the implementation of all promotions, price changes, and training and development relating to these functions.

In the absence of the Branch Manager, the Assistant Manager can reasonably be required / expected to fulfil the Branch Manager's 'Key Duties'.

One of your 'Key Duties' relates to the Protection of Company Assets, which includes the responsibility of handling / safeguarding the company's stock (which is seen as a cash (financial) asset) as well as reporting any loss / damage to Management.

Remuneration includes a basic salary, Company benefits including Medical Aid, Pension, Balanced Scorecard and Staff Discount.
