Responsibilities

• Assist the Laundry Master in overseeing daily operations of the onboard laundry facilities.
• Manage and supervise a team of laundry attendants.
• Ensure timely washing, drying, and folding of all laundry.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Train new laundry attendants and provide ongoing support.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the Laundry Master.
• Assist with sorting and distribution of laundry to cabins.
• Handle guest laundry requests and ensure timely delivery.

Job description

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Train new laundry attendants and provide ongoing training and support to existing team members

- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, following all safety and sanitation guidelines

- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Laundry Master

- Assist with the sorting and distribution of laundry to guest cabins and crew areas

- Handle guest laundry requests and ensure timely delivery of their items

- Maintain accurate records of laundry inventory and usage

- Assist with the preparation of laundry budgets and cost control measures

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

- Uphold the company's standards of excellence in customer service and cleanliness at all times

Qualifications:
