Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in town planning, development studies or public management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate integrated development planning support to municipalities with the drafting and review of IDPs.
• Facilitate IDP training and capacity building to municipalities and related stakeholders.
• Assess the quality of municipal integrated development plans.
• Facilitate support regarding national and provincial planning alignment with municipal IDPs.
• Facilitate the monitoring and reporting on municipal IDP review progress and implementation.
• Maintain an IDP document database accessible to all three spheres of government.
