Job summary

Yellosa in Johannesburg invites applications for an Assistant Financial Controller to join a large international hotel group. This role leads parts of the Finance Department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities include overseeing AP/AR, income audit, and GL, preparing monthly statements, monitoring cash flow, budgeting support, and coordinating audits. A diploma or Master's in finance is required; CA/CPA is a plus; experience in hospitality is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• A Diploma or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CA/CPA qualification considered an advantage.
• 3-5 years of post‑qualification experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role.
• Experience within a large international hotel or resort environment is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to supervise and develop team members.
• Strong social skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities
