Job summary

Qualifications

• Three-year tertiary qualification (NQF level 7) in Financial Accounting.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Financial Accounting at supervisory level.
• Knowledge of Public Service Regulations, PFMA and Treasury regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the provision of Financial Accounting Services including Revenue and Cash Management.
• Oversee debt management and inter-departmental receivables/payables processing.
• Ensure timely payment of goods and services and reconcile supplier payments.
• Prepare and review PFMA reports, interim and annual financial statements and trial balance analyses.
• Supervise and develop subordinates and manage performance and discipline.
