Job description

- Assist the Cruise Director in planning and executing a variety of onboard activities and events, including games, shows, and theme nights On Board Cruise Ship

- Coordinate with various departments to ensure that all activities and events run smoothly

- Host and emcee events, and engage with guests to create a fun and energetic atmosphere

- Manage and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for onboard activities

- Conduct safety briefings and assist with emergency procedures as needed

- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise

- Collaborate with the entertainment team to create and implement new and innovative activities and events

- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling and budget management

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for improvements to the onboard experience

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a customer service or entertainment role, preferably in the cruise industry

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational and time-management abilities

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Proven ability to engage and entertain a large audience

- Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications

- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree in hospitality or related field is a plus

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
