Overview

CIVIL ENGINEERING company operating in the Western Cape areas seeks to employee an ASSISTANT CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - Junior

Role Description

This is a contract role for an Assistant Construction Manager located on-site in Western Cape, South Africa. The Assistant Construction Manager will support the management of construction projects, ensure compliance with safety regulations, assist in project planning, and oversee day-to-day operations at the construction site. Responsibilities also include monitoring budgets, maintaining timelines, and providing supervision to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications
  • Must be in possession of a relevant qualification - ND Civil Engineering;
  • Relevant experience in (preference will be given to marine civil experience) all aspects of civil engineering;
  • Proficiency in project Control to optimize resource allocation and manage financial performance;
  • Strong Supervisory Skills to lead and coordinate teams on-site;
  • Excellent administration and problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is advantageous;
