Job Description
- Prepare and file CIPC submissions and maintain statutory records.
- Advise investment managers on compliance with MOIs, company policies, and the Companies Act.
- Support corporate transactions, including drafting resolutions and implementing board decisions.
- Organise and manage board and committee meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
- Draft and review board documents, reports, and annual statutory documentation.
- Liaise with shareholders, directors, CIPC, and internal departments.
- Monitor and interpret legislative changes affecting governance and compliance.
Qualifications
- Post‑matric Diploma or Advanced Certificate in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years in a company secretarial or governance role.
- Strong understanding of the Companies Act, governance principles, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with Diligent Board books, OpenText (preferred), CIPC e‑services, digital signature platforms, MS Office Suite.
