Role PurposeThe Assistant Business Manager – Data Centres will support the Business Manager in overseeing Digiclean's contractual service delivery within data centre environments.

The role is responsible for assisting with client relationship management, financial oversight, contract compliance, and operational performance.

The position requires strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to drive efficiency and service excellence in mission-critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities
Business & Commercial Management
  • Support the Business Manager with the administration and management of client contracts, ensuring SLA and KPI compliance.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Monitor revenue streams, invoicing accuracy, and cost control measures.
  • Provide input into pricing models, renewals, and business development opportunities.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a key support contact for client escalations, queries, and relationship management.
  • Assist with preparation of performance reports, presentations, and client review meetings.
  • Ensure proactive communication and delivery alignment with client expectations.
Operational Support
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Facilities teams to ensure seamless delivery of cleaning and support services in highly regulated data centre environments.
  • Monitor daily operational performance, escalating risks or gaps in service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to strict health, safety, and security standards required in data centres.
People & Vendor Management
  • Support the Business Manager in supervising site-based staff, including rostering, performance reviews, and training needs.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure contract terms and service standards are met.
  • Assist in promoting a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports in line with company and client requirements.
  • Support audit processes, risk assessments, and quality assurance checks.
  • Ensure compliance with Digiclean's policies, health & safety regulations, and client-specific protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in business support / contract management, preferably within facilities services or data centres.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost management.
  • Knowledge of service-level contracts and operational delivery in mission-critical environments.
