This role involves preparing and processing credit proposals, maintaining files, and answering client queries. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Branch Credit Assistant at our Pietermaritzburg Branch.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare Credit Proposals.
  • Processing of Credit Files and all Branch memos.
  • Maintaining of Credit Files.
  • Completion of security documents for Credit Facilities sanctioned.
  • Follow up for Company Financials, Insurance policies, Rate Clearance Certificates, Valuation Reports and Financial Rating.
  • Reviewing Credit Limits, follow-up on overdue facilities.
  • Answering client queries.
  • General Banking.
  • Any other related responsibilities can be assigned to the candidate as required.
Desired Experience, Competencies & Qualification
  • BCom / Relevant Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Sound knowledge of financial statement review, valuation reports, and rate clearance certificates.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities to effectively handle client queries.
