Job summary

Premier FMCG seeks a Maintenance Technician to sustain the performance of plant equipment on site. You will diagnose faults, perform routine maintenance and support plant upgrades to minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on engineering knowledge, good communication in English, and the ability to work in a pressurized production environment, including shifts, weekends and overtime when needed. Experience in a production facility and ability to read technical drawings are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in a production plant.
• 2 years experience as general assistant – Maintenance.
• Advantageous – general assistant experience.

Experience and Qualifications

To perform effectively in this role, the following minimum qualifications and work experience are required:

• Grade 12 or Equivalent
• 1 years’ experience in a production plant
• 2 years’ experience as a general assistant – Maintenance
• Advantageous – experience as general assistant

Working Conditions

This role requires the incumbent to operate in the following environments and manage specific physical or operational demands:
