Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of energy infrastructure assets in Upington. The role focuses on optimizing financial, operational, and technical performance across the asset lifecycle, collaborating with operations, finance, and development teams to maximize value and mitigate risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in asset management, preferably within the energy sector or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, project finance, and contract management.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and diverse stakeholder relationships.
• Knowledge of power generation, transmission, or distribution assets and operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
