Job summary

Zutari is seeking a highly capable Civil Engineer/Technologist with an interest in asset management and software-enabled design. The role supports our asset management consulting team by developing planning, analytical and software solutions for clients with ageing infrastructure.

The candidate will grow in engineering, IT, AI and software development skills while collaborating with Zutari’s Digital team. A driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of overall experience in asset management or related civil engineering projects.
• Valid SA driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel within South Africa and Africa for short to extended periods.
• Knowledge of GIS, MS Access and SQL Server is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support asset management consulting with software and AI-enabled applications.
• Conduct data analytics on large asset datasets and perform lifecycle analyses.
• Prepare analytical plans, outcomes reports and project documentation.
• Assist in client engagements, workshops and presentations.
• Collaborate on engineering solutions, dashboards and system integrations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet project objectives and deliverables.
• Travel as needed to client sites within SA and Africa for short/extended periods.
