Job summary

Fempower Personnel in Sasolburg is seeking an Artisan - Security Systems to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and installation of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Electric Fencing.

The successful candidate will ensure systems remain fully operational and provide technical support across sites, handling cabling, repairs and configuration under a fixed-term contract ending 30 June 2027.

Qualifications

Matric + Trade Test in electrical/instrumentation/electronics.
Technical certificates in CCTV, access control, alarms and electric fencing.
Minimum 2 years' experience in maintenance of security systems.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and testing of security systems to verify operation.
Inspect CCTV cameras, align and clean in maintenance cycles.
Repair and install CCTV equipment and cabling.
Inspect electric fencing, fix defects and test systems.
Test booms, motorised gates and turnstiles; service access-control gear.
Troubleshoot hardware, replace faulty components and install new hardware.
Configure and test security-system hardware and wireless networks.
Gather technical information to diagnose faults and follow procedures.
