The South Africa Manganese operation can be found in the manganese rich Kalahari Basin, in the country’s Northern Cape, which is home to 80 per cent of the world’s manganese. This position is based at our open‑cut Mamatwan mine which started operating more than half a century ago.

South32 will support assistance for part‑time studies aligned to role requirements and business needs at accredited institutions to eligible employees.
This role is a permanent full‑time position. As a plant Electrician, you will be responsible for routine maintenance, timely installation and where required, repair of equipment to ensure that plant‑related activities are executed in a safe manner, and that electrical reliability as per the requirements set forth by your line leader, are met. You will also be required to operate electrical equipment and test all working parts in functional area to ensure proper utilisation.
