Job description

Primary Purpose

Assist with repairs and maintenance on press machinery to ensure customer and company quality standards are met.

Key Performance Areas

Assist with and do preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant works instruction. Pile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data and forward to the Team Leader. Ensure that company procedures, works instructions and quality systems are adhered to at all times. Participate actively in the departmental mini‑business as per company requirement. Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHEQ procedures and works instructions.

Minimum Requirements

NQF 4 / Matric (Min), 2 years’ experience as a fitter assistant within an automotive environment. Artisan trade would be added advantage.
