Overview

Introduction : The company is a diverse and proudly South African car hire company. We are part of the JSE listed company engaged primarily in distribution and franchising, motor retailers, car hire and financial and support services sectors.

The car hire fleet comprises an impressive range of well-maintained vehicles ranging from no-frills models to top-of the range luxury cars that are available for short- and long-term hire. The company operates with a fleet of more than 9 000 vehicles throughout South Africa from a network of 50 branches.

Role details

Position: Area Sales Manager

Location: Kempton Park Depot

Reporting to: Regional Gauteng Sales Manager

Responsibilities
  • Establish and nurture brand connections through building, managing, and maintaining segment-specific accounts and client relationships.
  • Acquire a minimum of three new business accounts monthly and capitalise on opportunities.
  • Compile and complete tender documents and display strong industry market knowledge.
  • Make courtesy calls and visits to clients.
  • Customise client rate structures.
  • Analyse financials, big data, identify trends and achieve area-specific sales targets and revenue.
  • Display client-centred care and consideration efficiently and effectively.
  • Brand Territory Expansion requirements:
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Management / Marketing Diploma or Degree.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Advanced literacy in MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressurised, and dynamic environment.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working conditions are in an office environment, may require travelling and occasional weekend and/or evening work.
