A logistics and supply chain company is looking for an Area Sales Executive in Cape Town. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, securing new clients, and building lasting relationships. You will schedule appointments, conduct cold calls, and prepare proposals. Candidates must have a Matric qualification, a Bachelor's Degree is preferred, and a minimum of 3 years in corporate sales. A valid driver's license is required.

  • 3 years of corporate sales experience, 5 years if senior.

This role requires a proactive approach to identify new business opportunities, exceed sales targets, and contribute to the overall success of our company.

Job Description

  • Scheduling of new business appointments
  • Cold calling
  • Achieve individual targets
  • Generate new sales leads and acquire new customers
  • Selling of the full supply chain products
  • Establish customer needs, developing opportunities and expand customer base
  • Update weekly call report and Salesforce daily
  • Prepare and present proposals and presentations to clients

Job Requirements

  • Experience and Education
  • Minimum requirement is a Matric (Grade 12) qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree or similar qualification and / or experience
  • 3 Year Corporate Sales Record (If senior position 5 years)
  • Need to have worked for reputable corporates
  • Proven track record of having made target
  • Industry experience advantageous – Understanding of full supply chain (Freight, International & Warehousing products)
  • Experience in presentation and negotiation of business solutions at senior management level
  • Valid Code 08 drivers license and own reliable transport
