Qualifications

• Driver’s License and own reliable transport is a must.
• Must be based in Piet Retief.

Responsibilities

• Provide security advice to clients.
• Perform threat and risk assessments.
• Manage manpower, equipment, and rostering.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Deal effectively with client complaints.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Maintain the NOSA quality system.
• Chair disciplinary hearings as needed.

Overview

The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Security advice to clients;
• Threat and Risk assessments;
• Client liaison and professional client relationship;
• Manpower management, equipment management and rostering;
• Completion of daily, weekly and monthly reports;
• Effectively dealing with and managing client complaints;
• Ensure contractual requirements are met at all times;
• Ensure compliance to the Company’s disciplinary code;
• Maintenance of the NOSA quality system;
• Initiating and chairing disciplinary hearings;
• Health and Safety Management;
• Ensuring Security Officers problems that are reported are solved;
• Ensure that all company SOP’s are followed;
• Ensure training takes place as and when required;
• After hour visits and assisting with shift changes as a standby manager;
• Must be able to attend meetings and take calls to assist with matters of urgency even on rest days;
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of good security practice, covering the physical and logical aspects of information products, systems, integrity and confidentiality;

Qualifications

• PSIRA certification – Grade A;
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
• Firearm competency handgun, shot gun & rifle
• Valid regulation 21 certificate
• Retail and hospitality experience advantageous;
• Relevant experience in a managerial or similar position;
• Must be confident in dealing with the public;

• The ability to communicate and present at all levels and work under pressure;
