Placements24 in Stellenbosch is seeking an Architectural Assistant to support the design team from concept to construction documentation, blending office work with hybrid flexibility. You will produce CAD drawings, research materials and design trends, organize project documentation, coordinate with consultants, and assist with site visits.

Ideal for someone with 1–3 years' experience and strong attention to detail in a collaborative studio.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology, Design, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in an architectural office or related environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or other BIM software is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work structure.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, and details using CAD software.
• Conduct research on building materials, products, and design trends relevant to projects.
• Help compile and organize project documentation, specifications, and presentations.
• Coordinate with external consultants and suppliers to gather necessary information.
• Provide administrative support to the architectural team, including scheduling and correspondence.
• Participate in site visits as required to support project documentation.
