Overview

Woolpert Africa is hiring an Architect to join our Buildings Team at the Johannesburg, South Africa office.

Responsibilities

Lead a team in the development and delivery of all project deliverables, from concept through completion, and oversee construction and close out. Work with firm leaders, Project Lead, and an interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑performing, complex projects for some of the world's largest technology clients.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Experience on medium‑size projects such as retail, multi‑family residential, or commercial developments.
• Master's degree in Architecture.
• Strong design, execution, and problem‑solving skills with experience in complex projects.
• Commitment to staying informed on the latest architectural technologies, materials, and sustainability practices.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for project development; BIM proficiency is advantageous.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) and Bluebeam.
• Strong digital modeling skills with well‑developed organizational abilities.
• Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.

Preferred Skills

It is desired that the candidate should be SACAP registered.
