About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturing and fabrication company located in Klerksdorp , North West, is seeking motivated individuals for an Apprentice Welder (Boilermaker) position. This apprenticeship provides a fantastic opportunity to learn and master the essential skills of welding and boilermaking within a dynamic industrial setting. You will work alongside experienced boilermakers, gaining practical knowledge in fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components. This role is hands‑on and requires a strong commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities

• Assist experienced boilermakers in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal structures.


• Learn and practice various welding techniques, including ARC, MIG, and TIG welding.


• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.


• Cut, shape, and form metal plates and sections according to job requirements.


• Perform repairs on existing metal components and structures.


• Operate workshop machinery and tools safely and efficiently.


• Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and within specified tolerances.


• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations in the workshop environment.


• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.

Requirements
