Placements24 is offering an Apprentice Plumber role in George, Western Cape. This structured training program covers new installations, repairs and maintenance, working alongside qualified plumbers to develop essential trade skills.

Ideal candidates are 18+, eager to learn, physically capable and able to work safely in challenging environments. A driver’s license is preferred, with opportunities for wage progression as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including working in confined spaces and at heights.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for plumbing projects.
• Assist in fabricating, assembling, and installing pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and properly manage tools and equipment on site in George.
