Placements24 is recruiting an Apprentice Business Analyst in Mossel Bay to support our client, a prominent financial services institution. You will learn requirements gathering, process modelling, and solution design while collaborating with experienced analysts.

You will contribute to documenting business needs, testing solutions, and creating user training materials within a structured apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Visio.
• A keen interest in understanding business operations and technology solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Must be able to work from the Mossel Bay office on a full-time basis.
• A foundational understanding of data analysis is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior Business Analysts in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
• Participate in the analysis of current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Help create process flow diagrams and use case documentation.
• Support the testing and validation of proposed solutions against business requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure clear understanding of project objectives.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback.
• Contribute to the creation of training materials for end-users.
• Assist in identifying and documenting business risks and dependencies.
• Attend project meetings and contribute to discussions regarding business needs.
• Maintain documentation related to business analysis activities.
