A leading transport and logistics firm is seeking an Apprentice Boilermaker in Koedoespoort. This role aims to prepare the apprentice to operate independently in the field, with responsibilities that include manufacturing and assembling components. Applicants must have completed specified N2 subjects and be aged between 18 and 35. The position offers valuable hands-on training and a pathway to becoming a qualified artisan.

The purpose of apprenticeship is to prepare apprentices to operate independently and productively in preparation of being a competent qualified artisan. The apprentice boilermaker will be trained to plan and prepare, manufacture, assemble, inspect, commission installations and assemblies, modify and repair components, and apply the knowledge and skills obtained in a variety of contexts.
Expected outcome is the ability to plan and prepare work site, equipment, tools, consumables and materials for trade related activities and operations, use hand, power and measuring tools, install, assemble, fit, connect electrical equipment and control systems. Test, inspect, commission, maintain and repair electrical equipment, control systems, installations, assemblies etc.
