Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Strong interest in metal fabrication and construction trades.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and instructions.
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality workmanship.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and work in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced boilermakers in fabricating and assembling metal structures and vessels.
• Learn to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Operate various tools and machinery, including welding equipment, plasma cutters, and grinders, safely and effectively.
• Perform cutting, shaping, and fitting of metal plates and sections according to design requirements.
• Participate in the erection and installation of large metal structures.
• Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of work performed.
