Placements24 in Welkom is partnering with a mining and industrial services client to offer a Mechanical Artisan Apprenticeship. The program combines hands-on maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy equipment with structured learning to develop skilled artisans.

You will be mentored by experienced artisans, learn plant safety practices, and rotate through mechanical disciplines to gain practical experience and professional qualifications over a three to four year period.

Qualificações

About the Role

Our client, a significant player in the mining and industrial services sector based in Welkom , is seeking diligent and technically inclined individuals for their Mechanical Artisan Apprenticeship program. Key Responsibilities

• Assist skilled artisans in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of mechanical equipment.

Requirements

• Physical strength and stamina, with the ability to work in challenging environments.
• Willingness to commit to the apprenticeship duration, typically three to four years.

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Welkom area.
