Placements24 is seeking an Appliance Installation Technician to service the Welkom area. You will install and set up various home appliances, explain operation to customers, and ensure safe and correct functioning.

You will work directly with customers, maintain high service standards, and manage installation paperwork. The role emphasizes independent scheduling and strong customer communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in appliance installation or related trade.
• Good understanding of household electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule efficiently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy appliances.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and accurate installations of home appliances (washing machines, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers).
• Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Test installed appliances to confirm proper operation and identify issues.
• Provide customers with clear instructions on appliance usage and basic maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and workspace.
• Complete installation checklists and customer sign-offs.
