Overview

Our client based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga is looking for an Analyst who is experienced in Remuneration and Benefits to join their team.

Responsibilities
  • In cooperation with the Compensation and Benefits Manager, assess and analyse the duties and responsibilities of the position, and develop a fair and competitive salary.
  • Analyze or evaluate market information and pay patterns, and then suggest new appointment salaries, promotions, and interim modifications.
  • Regular checks and audits to make sure the human resource information system’s data is accurate.
  • Be abreast of market developments, best practices for compensation and benefits, and any legal, legislative, and governance compliance needs.
  • Manage employee benefits, including retirement plans, health insurance, risk management for disabilities, group personal accident insurance, funeral benefits, etc.
  • Proficient Excel knowledge.
  • Generate reports and give analytical support for ongoing special projects and initiatives; take part in remuneration salary surveys and analyse the data that is obtained.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum BCom Finance / HR Degree or Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in remuneration, data analysis, job evaluation, grading, and employee benefits administration.
  • Strong statistical, analytical and research skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and ethical conduct.
  • Ability to effectively deal with conflict.
  • Ability to negotiate with various stakeholders at multiple levels.
