Analyst (Energy / Power sector)We're looking for a driven and analytical Energy Sector Analyst to join a leading investment and project development team.

You'll help originate, structure, and execute energy transactions - from renewable power and gas projects to distributed generation and M&A deals - while building deep expertise across Africa's evolving energy landscape.

What You'll Do
  • Support origination, due diligence, and execution of energy projects and investments.
  • Build and refine financial and techno-commercial models (tariff analysis, wheeling, savings, offtake).
  • Conduct market and company analysis, prepare Project Information Memoranda, teasers, and board materials.
  • Coordinate and track due diligence and project schedules across technical, financial, and legal workstreams.
  • Review project agreements (PPAs, EPCs, O&M) and contribute to deal structuring.
  • Monitor industry trends and share insights to guide strategic decisions.
What You Bring
  • Honours Degree in Engineering, Finance, or Economics (essential).
  • 3–5 years' experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or energy project development.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Exposure to project finance, capital raising, or M&A preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
