Fidelity Services Group seeks a Technical Assistant to support installation of cabling for alarm systems, CCTV, intercom and access control. You will assist skilled technicians, drill and mount detectors and panels, power-up and walk-test systems.

Requirements include Grade 12, at least 1 year as a Wireman, PSIRA registration advantageous, and practical electrical knowledge. You will work under pressure and attend to detail while delivering hands-on installation tasks at client sites in Gauteng.

Formación

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Wireman.
• PSIRA registration (Grade C) advantageous.
• Practical electrical/electronic knowledge advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Assist technician with installations of alarm and security equipment.
• Assist technician by removing old equipment from clients premises.
• Run new cables, drill holes, mount detectors, panels, contacts, lights, etc.
• Inform technician of shortfalls or limitations of the equipment and tools.
• Inform technician of cabling required for an installation.
• Hand over to users and support functions.
• Clean vehicles and premises after an installation.
