Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Systems Engineer in Nelspruit to design, integrate, test and certify complex aircraft systems across platforms. You will contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects ensuring performance, safety, and reliability in a collaborative environment.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and a degree in aerospace or related engineering discipline, with strong knowledge of system modeling tools and airworthiness processes (FAR Part 25, EASA CS-25).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft systems engineering, design or integration.
• Familiarity with airworthiness regulations (e.g., FAR Part 25, EASA CS-25) and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate aircraft systems across platforms.
• Perform system analysis, modeling, and simulation to predict performance.
• Develop system requirements, specifications, and test plans for airworthiness.
• Oversee testing and validation, troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, and flight test teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation for internal reviews and regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics subsystems.

• Develop system requirements, specifications, and test plans, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards .
• Oversee system testing and validation, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and flight test teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements
