A leading aerospace manufacturer in South Africa is seeking an Aircraft Structures Worker responsible for cutting, fabricating, and assembling parts for various aircraft. The ideal candidate must have a Trade Certification and a minimum of 5 years experience in the manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include consultation of drawings, using appropriate machinery, and ensuring adherence to quality processes and safety protocols.
The Aircraft Structures Worker is responsible for cutting, fabricating, shaping, and assembling of parts for various aircraft.
The incumbent is expected to work independently as well as part of a team in supporting the Department, Project Manager and Engineering environments to ensure that the final product conforms to the required technical standards and to achieve the goals and objectives of the organisation.
Educated to Grade 12 or National diploma (N3).
Aircraft Structures Trade Certification
A minimum of 5 years Aircraft Structure experience within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience of sub assembly, major assembly and on-aircraft installation is preferred.
Experience in aircraft sheet metal / structures maintenance and manufacturing environment within the aerospace industry.
