Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Fuel Systems Technician in Mpumalanga (Nelspruit area). The role focuses on inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing fuel system components to maintain flight safety and performance.

Responsibilities include testing, documentation, and ensuring compliance with aviation standards. The candidate should be comfortable working in a hangar environment and possess solid knowledge of fuel systems and maintenance procedures.

Formación

• Proven experience as Aircraft Fuel Systems Technician or similar role.
• Solid understanding of aircraft fuel system principles and components.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency in using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment for fuel systems.
• Knowledge of aviation safety regulations related to fuel systems.
• Hangar environment experience in Nelspruit.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft fuel systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to fuel pumps, tanks, lines, and indicators.
• Repair or replace faulty fuel system components according to approved maintenance data.
• Conduct pressure tests and system checks to ensure integrity and proper function.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities on fuel systems.
• Ensure all work complies with current aviation regulations and safety standards.
