Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aircraft Electrician to join our technical team supporting operations across sites, with a base in Vereeniging. You will install, maintain and repair aircraft electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, power units and ECUs.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting faults, performing modifications, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and company procedures. A remote-friendly structure is offered for certain tasks.

Competenze

• Proven experience as Aircraft Electrician or similar maintenance role in aviation.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, AC/DC power, and ECUs.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and manuals.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent Aircraft Electrician to join their technical team supporting operations across various sites, with a primary base in Vereeniging . This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of aircraft electrical systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. You will work with complex wiring, power distribution, and electronic control systems on a range of aircraft. Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, and repair aircraft electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, power units, and electronic components.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Electrician or in a similar electrical maintenance role within aviation.
• Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, AC/DC power, and electronic control systems.

• Relevant trade qualification or certification in electrical engineering or aviation maintenance.
