Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aircraft Design Engineer for a fully remote role based in South Africa. You will concept, design, and refine aircraft structures and systems, leveraging advanced CAD/CAE tools to meet performance and safety targets.

You’ll collaborate with a global engineering team, translate complex requirements into tangible designs, and ensure compliance with airworthiness standards while pursuing innovative materials and technologies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in aircraft design with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAE software (CATIA/SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
• Solid understanding of aerodynamics, structures, materials science, and aircraft systems.
• Experience with composite materials and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Eligible to work remotely from Benoni, Gauteng, ZA.

Requirements
