Placements24 is seeking a diligent Aircraft Component Technician for an MRO facility in Paarl. You will repair, overhaul, and test aircraft components to meet airworthiness standards, working with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

You will maintain precise records, follow CMMs and manuals, and contribute to safe, reliable aircraft operations in Paarl. This hands-on role offers structured training and career development within aviation maintenance.

Qualifications

About the Role

Our client requires a diligent Aircraft Component Technician for their MRO facility in Paarl. This role is focused on the repair, overhaul, and testing of various aircraft components, ensuring they meet stringent airworthiness and performance standards. You will work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, applying technical expertise to restore them to operational condition. Key Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and assess aircraft components (e.g., landing gear, actuators, pumps).

• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and test results.
• Identify and report any components that require specialized repair or replacement beyond the workshop's capability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Component Technician or in a mechanical/technical repair role.
