Job summary

Msuez Uk is seeking an Aircraft Cleaner to join our Durban team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for cleaning aircraft interiors and exteriors, ensuring high standards and safety compliance during all tasks.

The role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed. Prior cleaning experience is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in aircraft cleaning or similar field preferred.
• Physically demanding role requiring bending, lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean aircraft interiors: seats, carpets, windows, lavatories.
• Clean and polish exteriors: wings, fuselage, landing gear.
• Follow safety policies and use cleaning products correctly.
• Perform pre- and post-flight inspections for cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair issues observed during cleaning.
• Assist with restocking supplies and organizing equipment.

Job Overview

We are seeking an Aircraft Cleaner to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our clients' aircraft, both inside and out. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors, including seats, carpets, windows, and lavatories
• Clean and polish aircraft exteriors, including wings, fuselage, and landing gear
• Ensure all cleaning products and equipment are used safely and in accordance with company policies
• Conduct pre- and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft are clean and ready for departure
• Notify management of any maintenance or repair issues discovered during cleaning
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Assist with other duties as assigned, such as restocking supplies and organizing cleaning equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in aircraft cleaning or related field is preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques for different surfaces and materials
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Wilingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
