Placements24 is seeking a skilled Aircraft Cabin Interior Technician for a role in Mossel Bay. You will refurbish, repair, and maintain aircraft cabin interiors, including seats, galleys, lavatories, and overhead components, using fabrics, composites, and plastics.

The ideal candidate will have strong craftsmanship, experience with interior repair techniques, and the ability to read maintenance manuals and schematics to ensure safety and quality. This position is based on site in Mossel Bay.

Qualifications

• Experience as Aircraft Cabin Interior Technician or similar role.
• Skilled in upholstery, woodworking, composite repair, and plastic repair.
• Able to read and interpret aircraft interior schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and refurbishment of aircraft cabin seats, including upholstery, cushioning, and frame repairs.
• Maintain and repair cabin amenities such as galleys, lavatories, IFE systems, and lighting.
• Fabricate and install interior cabin components, ensuring a perfect fit and finish.
• Work with various materials, including leather, fabric, composites, and plastics, applying appropriate repair techniques.
• Conduct inspections of cabin interiors to identify wear and tear, damage, or safety concerns.
• Ensure all interior modifications and repairs comply with aviation regulations and company standards.
