Job summary

Centrax Digital seeks an experienced AI Solutions Architect to turn prioritized AI use cases into secure, costed designs aligned with CAIF-5 framework. You will trade off models, data, integration and security while guiding delivery with architecture decisions.

You will lead the design of secure AI solutions, ensure POPIA-aligned data handling, and support pre-sales with credible cost estimates and scope. Hybrid work with travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Two AI/ML solutions designed and taken to production.
• Experience designing LLM-based applications in production (retrieval & evaluation).
• Knowledge of POPIA or privacy regimes and secure data handling.

Responsibilities

• Produce AI solution architectures: context, designs, data flows, integration points, non-functional requirements.
• Select models, platforms and deployment patterns based on quality, cost, latency, data residency and risk.
• Design data and retrieval architecture for AI workloads: ingestion, vector stores, access controls, lineage.
• Integrate AI capabilities into client systems including Zoho apps and APIs.
• Incorporate security, privacy, and safety into every design with governance points.
• Estimate effort, costs and support pre-sales with credible scoping.
