Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Account Strategist to own search for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will shape the technical roadmap, set content priorities, and articulate the ranking story for clients on calls with US teams.

You’ll drive technical SEO, on-page optimization, and multi-location SEO while coordinating with writers and AI tools. Remote work is supported for Canada, South Africa, and the USA.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes implemented.
Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
Agency experience across several clients simultaneously.
Clear spoken English on live calls with US clients.

Responsibilities

Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers and AI.
Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, plus classic organic results.
Links, local search and multi-location SEO.
Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
