The Focus Group is seeking an AI Developer to design, build, test, and deploy AI-powered solutions using the Microsoft AI technology stack in Azure Foundry, Copilot Studio, and related Microsoft services. The role emphasizes scalable, secure, and production-ready delivery within an agile team.

You will collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and product owners, following engineering standards and contributing to reusable assets and capability uplift across the organization.

Formación

• 2–5 years of software development experience.
• Proven delivery experience in an enterprise environment.

• Experience building and deploying AI or automation use cases.

Microsoft AI Engineering and Delivery

Role Purpose

The AI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying AI-powered solutions using the Microsoft AI technology stack. The role contributes to business use-case delivery, platform enablement, and internal AI capability through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and adherence to engineering standards. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary AI delivery team focused on scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and related Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities

AI Solution Development

• Design, develop, test, and implement AI agents and AI-powered solutions.

• Develop solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft AI services.

• Configure prompts, orchestration logic, workflows, connectors, and integrations.

• Support proofs of concept, pilots, production solutions, deployments, and releases.

Technical Delivery

• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

• Develop reusable components, patterns, and accelerators.

• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications and data sources.

• Support testing, defect resolution, and performance optimisation.

• Produce technical documentation and implementation guides.

Quality and Engineering Standards

• Follow established engineering standards and development practices.

• Participate in peer reviews and code reviews.

• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned to architecture principles.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of AI development practices.

Collaboration and Enablement

• Work with business stakeholders, architects, developers, testers, and product owners.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and delivery planning.

• Share knowledge and lessons learned through demonstrations and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Technical Skills

Essential

• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, and Azure OpenAI.

• Understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models.

• Experience building, configuring, and deploying AI agents.

• API integration experience and understanding of authentication and security principles.

• Experience testing and debugging solutions.

Advantageous

• Power Platform, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Microsoft Graph, custom connectors, and Microsoft Fabric.

• DevOps and CI/CD practices.

• Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, or a related development language.

Experience

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
