About the Role

We're on the hunt for a young, hungry Video Editor who lives and breathes storytelling through the edit bay—and is already geeking out over AI creative tools like Veo 3, Runway, Midjourney, and more.

You'll be part of our Cape Town studio crew, crafting both bite-sized YouTube Shorts and long‑form masterpieces that hook, engage, and captivate.

What You'll Do

• Craft magnetic hooks that stop thumbs‑scrolling in their tracks
• Edit and assemble story‑driven videos for Shorts, long‑form YouTube, and beyond
• Integrate motion graphics to elevate pacing and visual flair
• Leverage AI tools and plugins to accelerate workflows and invent new editing techniques
• Collaborate with our creative studio team to iterate fast and push boundaries

You Have

• 2+ years of proven video editing experience—YouTube Shorts & long‑form a must
• Strong skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects (ideally) + motion graphics chops
• A deep understanding of what makes an edit addictive: timing, pacing, color, sound design
• Hands‑on experience or understanding of AI‑powered creative tools (ChatGPT, Veo 3, Runway, Midjourney, etc.) and a passion for exploring the next big thing
• A boundless curiosity, energy, and love for sitting at your desk turning raw clips into polished gold

• Based in Cape Town, available in‑studio 3 full days / week
